PAMUSASA, ZBBFF, TOAST ZED NATIONALS – 2023 TOURNAMENT

The Zambia Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (ZBBFF) has commended sponsors that included Pamusasa Real Estate, Big Tree Beverages, Ministry Of Youths, Sports and Arts, IDEAS GO, Casino Marina Lusaka, for coming on board as they hosted this year’s Zed Nationals Bodybuilding and Fitness championships.

In his speech at the prize presentation held at NASDEC, ZBBFF President Jackson Jay Nkhoma, said the federation together with the cooperate world (sponsors) was committed to ensuring that the bodybuilding and fitness sport thrived in the country.

“Our objective as a federation is to make sure we deliver a well integrated fit society where the creamy de la cream should be able to compete favorably at national and international level. The biggest challenge as always is finances and with a competition of such a magnitude, we cannot thank you enough, our sponsors for coming on board. One day we shall make Zambia proud through bodybuilding and fitness”

And Pamusasa Real Estate company CEO and proprietor, Saili Phiri, who was the special guest at this year’s contest, said the event served as a reminder of what can be achieved through dedication, discipline and hardwork. Mr. Phiri commended the Zambia Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (ZBBFF) for successfully hosting this year’s event and that the Real Estate company will continue to partner with the bodybuilding federation to enhance the promotion and presence of the sport across Zambia.

“As dedicated supporters of local sports, I want to say it here that we will continue with this partnership with ZBBFF so as to help enhance the promotion and presence of the bodybuilding sport across Zambia. For me the event served as a reminder of what can be achieved through dedication, discipline and hardwork. My call goes to the youths to take keen interest in bodybuilding which not only promotes physical fitness but also improves one’s life skills like goal-setting, time management, resilience, perseverance and leadership”

Meanwhile, in an interview, Body Builder, Nelson Chabota, of Kabwata Body Building and Fitness Gymnasium who retained the Mr. Zambia bodybuilding and fitness title, now called the Zed Nationals, after putting up an impressive performance to outwit other finalists in a tight contest held on Friday, December 1st, 2023, at Government Complex in Lusaka said he was delighted to win the 2023 Zed Nationals title for the second time straight and was quick to admit that the competition was tough but expected to win because he had prepared adequately for the contest.

Chabota walked home among other prizes a 30×30 plot at 10 miles area worth 30, 000 Kwacha courtesy of Pamusasa Real Estate, 2000 building blocks, 5000 Kwacha cash, certificate of participation, trophy and medal. The runner-up position went to William “Machine” Sichone of Matero gym, while Enoch “Rambo” Chanda of Kabwata Gymnasium came out third with James “Buffalo” Chakaleka of Universal gym scooping the fourth position.
