THE African Democratic Decree Alliance (ADDA) has said Zambians should not entertain the United Kwacha Alliance (UKA) because it is a reincarnation of the Patriotic Front (PF) which the people of Zambia rejected in 2021.
ADDA Coordinator Malikopo Kasanga said that Zambians did not have to endorse UKA because it was just the PF trying to rebrand.
Mr. Kasanga said that Zambians were not foolish and that they were seeing what was happening in the UKA and that former PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri toasting former Republican President Edgar Lungu’s political comeback confirmed the change of ownership from PF to UKA.
He said that the former Head of State was a dictator and that Zambians needed to be wary of him if he wanted to make a comeback.
“On behalf of ADDA, we want to warn Zambians of a possible comeback of Mr. Lungu who portrayed dictatorial tendencies,” Mr. Kasanga said.
He said that he had earlier advised that political differences be put aside and concentrate on the development of the nation and called on the Government to ensure food security and sustainable programmes were put in place.
“Zambia should not accept a dictator whom they rejected through the ballot in the 2021 General elections,” he said.
