FAST-RISING talent, Davison Silavwe, best known in the entertainment world as, Dk-Kalulu, has successfully delivered audio and video format for his hit song “Bangwele” an ode to a love connection sure written in the stars but destined to be consigned to the cosmic ash heap.
The new single which has now garnered heavy streaming support since its release is accompanied by a superbly shot and stylish video, directed by T-One, and features acclaimed singer and songwriter Uncle Jah, who also recently released his visuals for “Nikali Single” featuring heavyweight rapper Tommy D.
Imbued with a smooth, sultry vibe, the mood of “Bangwele” is set by Dk-Kalulu’s elegant, easy-flowing vocal delivery, underscored by a slick, laid-back beat, that allows his rich, euphonious voice to shine.
In this song and video, Dk-Kalulu is revealing a narrative that is exploring the pain of a failed relationship that should have worked, but didn’t.
Dk-kalulu explains: “The short answer as to what the song is all about is; Yes, opposites do attract, but that doesn’t always mean that they work. Many ended up being in a relationship that was hard to be in, and being with someone that was hard to be in love with, when it was meant to be so easy. And to my fans, expect more good music and well-crafted videos in 2024”
