The Daily Nation Lifestyle recently interviewed Barbara and Miniver, to get an insight into their business journey.
Asked what was the inspiration behind the start of Barmin Enterprises and if there were any challenges faced, Barbara responded by saying, “Barmin Enterprises was started out of passion and love for nature and clean surroundings. And for the past 11 years we have proven to be the best at what we do. For us providing a great customer experience has always been at the core of our business identity. The challenges faced when we started was not having workers, then how God works, we won a contract but still no workers to assist us, so we had to advertise and managed to employe some people to help us. Currently we have 23 workers under our company”
When asked what future plans they had for their business company and what gives them the most satisfaction being entrepreneurs, Miniver responded, “We are a mobile company and our future plans are to create more employment for the unemployed and those that love flowers and nature because it takes passion to do what you love. What give us satisfaction is being able to do things at our own time and be able to talk to clients one on one and make sure they are happy with our works”
Asked on the importance of maintaining a well-kept landscape, Barbara responded, “Think of landscaping as an indirect form of marketing. How well you maintain your facility’s exterior be it a company or a home can be viewed as a direct reflection of how your home or company maintains itself. A well-kept landscape attracts more people. It’s no surprise that people respond better to environments that have a significant green footprint”
