Wilfred Kazhingu, a Zambia Army Officer has made history by becoming the first Zambian to graduate from the Armour Basic Officers Leader Course (ABOLC) in the United States of America and emerging as top allied student.
The 19-week programme, conducted by the United States Army Armour School at the Maneuver Centre of Excellence (MCOE), aimed to train Armour officers to become versatile and resilient leaders capable of guiding soldiers in diverse military operations as part of the Armour Brigade Combat Team.
Throughout the course, officers were rigorously trained and tested on various Armour and Cavalry Equipment, with Captain Kazhingu’s exceptional performance marking a significant achievement for both himself and the Zambian Defence Force. (Credit-Zambia Army).
