A group of young people in Mansa District of Luapula Province have created an online platform for business.
The website called North Zambia is meant to highlight the province’s potential for business and investment prospects was officially launched by Mansa Mayor Njikho Musuku.
Mr. Lombe Mpabalwani who is the brain behind the platform and managing director of Locate Properties Real Estate agency limited said the platform would draw in local and foreign investors.
Mr Mpabalwani said the site would also offer a thorough assessment of the economic prospects in Luapula, Northern, and Muchinga province, and broadcast traditions and tourist destinations.
He stated that other services provided by the website would be reservations for lodging, real estate and property development, online shopping, car rentals, courier and delivery services, and reservations for taxis.
He explained that the innovation was about converting original concepts into fresh approaches, spur expansion, boost productivity, adapt to the shifting needs of clients, and enhance internal decision-making and problem-solving for our local businesses.
Meanwhile, Mansa Mayor Njikho Musuku observed that the innovation was a challenge to invest in and encourage more creative uses of technology to conduct business in the district.
He noted that the site would help companies in Luapula and surrounding areas to increase their market share.
Mr. Mususu further urged companies to become subscribers to the platform.
