RENOWNED Zambian rapper, Mwila Musonda, artistically known as Slapdee has clocked 4 million streams on Boomplay in just three days of releasing a brand-new album titled Black Na White III album (BW3).
Slapdee has been dominating the top 3 most searched songs chart on Boomplay since his album was released last week on Friday, February 23, 2024.
The BW3 accumulated over a million streams on Boomplay in just eight hours of dropping it.
The 22-track album has ended the more than decade trilogy and he lines up the likes of Macky 2, Dizmo, Cox, Namandingo, Femi One, Tommy D, and Mampi.
The project also featured young rapper 76 Drums of the ‘Big Machines’ fame, former Zone Fam front man Jay Rox, Dimple Williams and Elisha Long among others.
According to his fans, Jahman Juice with 76 drums is the best performing song from the project followed by the intro “you are”.
Slapdee first got into the game during his high school years.
Battling school mates and winning recognition, he soon realised that he could make hip-hop a viable career.
His professional music career began to get moving in 2006 when he worked on a song called ‘AsembeIsebenza’ and was identified by promoter Sync as a rising star.
