UTH ASKS FOR KALABA’S PRIVACY

MANAGEMENT at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) where 2012 AFCON winner Rainford Kalaba is admitted has requested visitors to give him the privacy he deserves as he recuperates from the accident which claimed the life of the other passenger he was with.

In a short statement issued a few minutes ago, UTH Public Relations Officer Nzeba Chanda says Kalaba’s condition is steadily improving and that he remains stable.

Ms. Nzeba says the medical professionals at the hospital are fully committed to ensuring that he receives the care that he deserves but says it is important that the patient is given the privacy he deserves.

“Loved ones should continue to pray for him as he continues his journey towards full recovery. As much as his family and hospital appreciate the overwhelming numbers of people that have continued visiting him, will appreciate that we give him the privacy he deserves at the moment. The hospital will continue updating the nation on Mr. Kalaba’s condition as the medical team remains positive,” Ms. Nzeba said.
