MAESTRO United Football club has donated an array of football accessories to Solwezi Boys Technical Secondary School.
Speaking during the presentation of footballs, replica jerseys, and various essential equipment to the school’s headteacher, club president Keith Mweemba said the donation was part of the club’s corporate social responsibility aimed at giving back to the community.
“This generous contribution forms part of F.C Muza’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, aimed at giving back to the community that has long supported the club,” Mweemba told the School headteacher.
He explained that the donation exemplified the club’s dedication to supporting the local community and promoting youth sports.
He said the act of generosity would inspire other organizations and individuals to contribute to the advancement of Solwezi Boys Technical Secondary School and the overall welfare of its students.
He emphasized the club’s commitment to fostering a strong relationship with the community and supporting the development of young athletes.
And school head teacher Tsembe shared his delight at the club’s decision to utilize the school’s facilities for training, noting that the sports infrastructure had not seen proper maintenance for a considerable period.
He underscored the significance of the donation, stating that it would significantly benefit the students and aid in the enhancement of their football skills.
Tsembe further disclosed that the school plans to upgrade its sports infrastructure to meet modern standards.
“This improvement aims to provide students with access to up-to-date facilities and equipment, thereby boosting their athletic development.
“The planned upgrade will undoubtedly create a conducive environment for students to hone their skills and pursue their passion for football,” said Tsembe.
