LUMEZI Member of Parliament (MP) Munir Zulu has jumped to the defence of former Defence Permanent Secretary (PS) Stardy Mwale over his scathing attack and ill-will message to former Roan Member of Parliament (MP) Chishimba Kambwili.
In a voice note that has gone viral, Mr. Mwale accused Mr. Kambwili of being behind his suffering because of his mouth which has seen his farm being seized by Law Enforcement Agencies after he lied about the cost at which he acquired it.
Mr. Mwale matter-of-factly told Mr. Kambwili that he wished him dead because he was a bad man who had caused the suffering of many people, including himself and his family, by peddling lies through unsubstantiated claims.
And commenting on the matter, Mr. Zulu said Mr. Mwale was right to speak his mind over the behaviour of Mr. Kambwili as he had let his anger out over his predicament, saying those who attacked him had no clue what he had gone through in the past three years as a result of Mr. Kambwili’s accusations.
“My honest feeling is that all those that injure others for no reason have a lot of people wishing them the worst to happen to them, including death. What makes others not to speak is because of our social and cultural norms which at times has made some people die with depression. What Stardy (Mwale) has done right is that he has gotten rid of the anger that was building up in his chest. He is now at peace with himself and those that have injured him.
“Others will argue that the time is wrong for him to have issued that voice note but they may not know how much pain he has endured for the last three years that he is in court and maybe he is also on the list of those to be convicted as court outcomes on all political matters are known,” Mr. Zulu said.
He said it was only hypocrites who would attack Mr. Mwale because they did not understand the pain he was going through owing to his court cases which are a direct consequence of Mr. Kambwili’s lies.
“Not to wish Hon. Kambwili bad, we have more people that wish others the worst but they are quiet and living with anger. So understand Stardy (Mwale) and accept that he is human that has felt pain and yet no one feels the same for him. Hypocrites will condemn him and yet privately they wish others the worst too. Just learn to leave in harmony with all,” he concluded.
